The mission of Community Action for Safe Teens (CAST) is to support and strengthen families, reduce the use/abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and encourage healthy choices by teens through increasing community awareness and action. CAST serves the communities of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Lyndeborough, Milford, Mont Vernon and Wilton.

National Take Back Initiative

Do You have Prescription Drugs and  Want to Safely Dispose of Them?  You Can -- at the National Take Back Initiative. Stop any of these participating locations:

  • Brookline Safety Complex
  • Hollis Police Department
  • Milford Police Department
  • Wilton Police Department

"Movie Maker Project"

September 2011 - January 2012

CAST has recently been awarded a grant from Milford Hospital Association. This grant will be used to produce movies that will utilized as Public Service Announcements created by local teens to promote positive messages about healthy choices using researched based statistical information. All schools in the coalition will be invited to participate in this project. Get the facts!

We meet on the 2nd Weds at the Milford SAU Office, generally at 3:30 PM, excepting June, July, Aug, and Dec when we meet at 8:30 AM. All are welcomed to attend.
